SMAN 3 Magetan IN NOMINATION Adiwiyata SCHOOL NATIONAL LEVEL

With a vision of "disciplined, moral, and environmental berintelektual", SMA Negeri 3 Magetan, located on Highway 45 Magetan Sarangan, successful
schools nominated adiwiyata national level, competing with 80 (eighty) secondary schools in Indonesia.
The evaluation team adiwiyata schools nationally, accompanied by the Environment Agency of East Java and staff Kementarian Environment, today (Wednesday, May 4, 2011) received in SMA Negeri 3 Magetan.
Former Head of SMAN 3 Magetan, Drs. Simon Lagut Landowero, the 2 (two) months and then served as Chief of SMAN 2 Magetan, in his presentation said, that Adiwiyata is not the ultimate goal. What matters is how the school fosters sensitivity to the environment green, clean and healthy; cultivate awareness of environmental sustainability, as well as integrating environmental concepts into learning activities.
Added, to keep preserve the environment and prevent the danger, then SMAN 3 Magetan seeks to educate and train students to care habits yangada the surrounding environment.
Going forward, the Environment is expected to be subject Mulok (Local Content), so the school as a place of forging national cadres, students should be able to educate a number of 791's, a pioneer in their respective areas. Began their study up to graduation. And to preserve the environment with care, keeping, so that the environment remains clean, green, refreshing, so that our county, our state, remains the world's lungs.
In a review of the field, the evaluation team reviewed the school adiwiyata national Green House School; artwork non organic waste utilization; composting; cultivation wasps; utilization of waste water; maintenance of animals, and the environment-themed artwork.
