STRATEGIC ISSUES AND JATIM Magetan


The entire scope SKPD in Magetan Government, should be able to capture the strategic issues, and translate in programs and activities according to their respective fields.
Regent conveyed Magetan Drs. Sumantri, MM. at the Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang), the Regional Development Plan (RKPD) Magetan in 2012, in the Hall Surya Graha, (Monday, March 5, 2012).

According to Regent Sumantri, there are several strategic issues that will need to be formulated into strategies RKPD program in 2013, among others:
- The number of poor people is still quite high and require rapid treatment, the program is structured and in-depth analysis of the target group;
- The low level of economic growth when compared with the provincial and central governments;
- The low quality of natural resources and the environment are caused areas;
- Still need to improve local infrastructure,
- And the limited sources of development funding public investment.

Meanwhile, the Head of Planning in East Java province, represented the Head of Regional Infrastructure, Ir. H. HOLY PURNOMO, MM. stated that the current issues and emerging development challenges will certainly be taken into consideration in the process of drafting RKPD East Java Province Year 2013.
The main issues that develop these include:
- Subsidized fuel restriction policy plan and an increase in electricity rates;
- Basic health services and education;
- Organizing local elections in some districts;
- The problem of unemployment;
- The creation of new economic middle class;
- An increase in agricultural productivity;
- Industrialization and development of quality jobs;
- Increased investment in the region;
- Improving the quality of road infrastructure and the supply of electricity;
- Improving the quality of human resources;
- Mobilization of public savings and banking intermediation to promote access to venture capital;
- Improving the quality of local government capital expenditures, as well as moving small and medium business segment.
Departing from strategic issues and challenges in the year 2013, according to Purnomo holy, then the policy measures under consideration by the Provincial Government for immediate action include:
- Empowering SMEs or Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperatives, in particular in terms of access to capital and acquisition of appropriate technologies;
- Empowerment of farmers and fishermen in particular in terms of improved access to factors of production (fertilizers, seeds, pesticides) including increased irrigation, extension and promotion of the brand / image of local commodities;
- Improved ease of licensing;
- Improving the quality of the road network;
- Increased capacity / power supply area;
- Increased access to education, especially secondary education (general and vocational);
- Increased share of capital expenditure budgets are prioritized in the infrastructure sector to the regional authority;
- Improved coordination between the government and the monetary authorities in creating a conducive business climate: an increase in the area of ​​banking intermediation, credit guarantee and inflation control areas, as well as
- Handling Middle Class, building small to medium segment and strengthen existing ones, but still weak. (ML).
